Hello hello, welcome along to another 12th Man Podcast. Dan & Adam are recording from Milano and speaking about European Football and the best of the weekends action.
16 - 17 #15 - Callum Wilson's Glass Knees
How does he do it? 2 ACL injuries in the last 2 seasons and he's still banging hattricks in the big league. Fantastic from Callum Wilson!

From the sublime to the ridiculous as Manchester score a combined 10 and Palace still can't find the net after 5 games.
Elsewhere David Luiz manages to get an FPL penalty with a Red & a Yellow but still comes out with points.
It's been a decent week for Arsenal but is it all down to Sanchez?
And as usual, our resident Liverpool fan is shouting from the rooftops - #KloppOut.
Get in touch with your thoughts on Twitter @WeAreThe12th_
17-18 #6 - Frank-ly Not Good Enough
So Frank De Boer sets a dubious new record - 77 days in the job - 4 games, 4 losses, zero scored. OK it was pretty bad on paper but 77 days. Come on!
In other news, check out our 2nd episode of Vs half way through this episode. That will be a stand alone video on Facebook & YouTube a day after the Pod goes out.

17-18 #2 - Pre-Season Part 2
We're so bloody excited!! The season starts TONIGHT!
Happy New PL Season Day everyone :-)
We'll be back on Tuesday with a weekend review including some new features. For today it's all about Lee's betting tips and previewing the weekend.
17-18 #1 - Pre-Season + Transfer Special
We're back and we've got a new theme tune and a new feature to boot. Unfortunately Michael is getting his facts wrong as usual so not much has changed on that front!
Oh, and we have a new name. Hopefully this finds it's way to your Podcast inbox as usual - The logo is temporary guys - Will be updated very soon.
16-17 #44 - Season Review - Predictions + Team of the Season
We don't always have an obvious title for each episode, but this one is clear - Red Bull Blackpool.
Unfortunately, being it was our season review, we kind of had to call it that.
Anyway, in this bumper 90 minute episode we go through our pre-season predictions, our team of the season (which turned into a shambles with Wes playing a 1-2-7 formation) and our general review of the season and what we can look forward to next.
We'll be back intermittently over the summer with some specials and we'll be back as usual in August.
VS #1 - Del Piero vs Totti
Bringing you the first episode in our new series - VS.
We're going to choose legends of the game and pit them against one another to decide exactly who's the boss!
In episode 1 we speak about outgoing Roma legend Francesco Totti vs his Italian teammate Alessandro Del Piero.
16-17 #43 - Just Me and You!
Guys, it's a special special episode today. Today is just me and you. Lets do this!
16-17 #42 - Goal of the Season?
Now all that title nonsense is done with it's time for the important prize to be handed out - Can Emre beat Andy and Olivier to the Goal of the Season gong?
16-17 #41 - Well That's That Then
West Ham effectively ended the title race this week but is this season a failure for Spurs? Have your say on that and so much more bu tweeting @FantasyFootyPod.
We didn't mention anything about Aaron Lennon but of course our thoughts go out to him and we hope to see him back on the pitch very soon. Mental health is a serious issue and we didn't want to weigh in with any opinion. If you want to hear a wonderful monologue on this, go ahead and download On The Left Side Podcast.
16-17 #40 - Something About John Terry's Mum
John Terry was in the news again - but we don't want to get into that :-)
In other news, Joey Barton stole the headlines on a weekend where Spurs overtook Arsenal as the dominant force in North London. However Chelsea are still ruling the capital as Manchester limps on.
16-17 #39 - Wenger's Done it Again!
We're all thinking about big Ugo this week. Losing such a giant of the game really puts everything in perspective. WE didn't speak about it on this week's edition as we're planning a proper tribute edition in the coming weeks.
For now, settle in and listen to our expert opinion on Europe, Zlatan, The FA Cup and more.
16-17 #38 - Spurs Have Won the League ...
After Spurs won 4-0 for the 2nd weekend in a row, and strung their 7th win together in succession AND Chelsea lost their 2nd match in 4 - well everyone went mad didn't they. Chelsea still have a 4 point gap guys, chill yeah!
16-17 #37 - PFA Player of the Year Special
With the PFA Player of the Year Nominations coming out this week, Adam & Dan decided to give their "expert" opinion on who deserves to win the awards.
16-17 #36 - Llorente the Dog
Honestly listeners, we have no idea what Mike was going on about with the dog comment. Listen on to find out what on Earth we're talking about.
16-17 #35 - Yes Ndidi
Thanks Jeff Stelling for the episode title - right from the legends mouth on Soccer Saturday.
16-17 #34 - Ron x70, Gigi x1000
Ronaldo achieved the remarkable feat of scoring his 70 International goal during this international break. He's now 1 goal short of entering the top 10 all time international goalscorers.
At the other end of the pitch, Gianluigi Buffon played in his 1000th professional match. In that time he's kept around 420 Clean Sheets and he did the same again against Albania.
Oh, and England played as well.
16-17 #33 - Victor Valdes, He's One Of Our Own
For a brief moment Victor Valdes forgot he wasn't a Utd player anymore and gifted his old side a simple tap in against Boro.
Elsewhere, "Future of English Football", Jermain Defoe, gets a call up to the England squad.
FFPod Special #2 - Greatest European Comebacks
It's been a while since we recorded a special - This one was inspired by the insane scenes when Barcelona won the tie despite being 4-0 down to PSG in the first leg. In the March 2017 return leg, they managed to win 6-1 on the night, 6-5 on aggregate to secure a famous win.
The boys take a look back at some of their favourite European comebacks over the years in this special episode.
16-17 #32 - He Scores When He Wants
It's finally happened - Vincent Janssen scored from open play. So it was the 5th goal in a 6-0 win - who cares. They all count!
16-17 #31 - Last Minute Llorente
Llorente does it again - a last gas winner for Swansea. So guess who Mike is tipping as the one to drop next week?
16-17 #30 - Zlatan Time
As the first silverware is dished out, the winner of the biggest one from last season is brutally dispatched. Join the boys as they discuss the EFL cup final, the 2nd coming of Gabbiadini and the departure of Ranieri. That and much more.
16-17 #29 - Non-League Legends
Sutton & Lincoln have basically made this season amazing!
16-17 #28 - Dilly-Ding-Dilly-Down
Leicester Palace & Bournemouth are on the slide while all around them are finding form. Who's your tip in this relegation race?
16-17 #27 - January Transfer Window Roundup
We thought a midweek special was in order to round up all the in's & out's across the Premier League and the rest of Europe. And China, of course!
16-17 #26 - Giant Killers
Sutton United, Lincoln City, Wolves, Fulham, Oxford United, Millwall - Heroes every one of them!
16-17 #25 - Sir Wazza
Coming at you with a full line up today as Lee returns to complete the fist team.
Chelsea streaked even further away this weekend. With Liverpool losing and City, Spurs & Man Utd all drawing, Chelsea open up an 8 point gap to the chasing pack.
We look back at this, and all the rest of the weekend action.
16-17 #24 - Mercenaries
China still haven't offered to quadruple our wages, so we're back and we're passing judgement on Costa & Payet, as well as ruling our eyes over the rest of the weekend action.
16-17 #23 - Lord Comb-Over
It's FA Cup 3rd Round Weekend and with every team comes a new tangent of conversation.
16-17 #22 - Voodoo Magic
We're starting 2017 off with a bumper edition of the Fantasy Footy Pod. With the end of Gameweek 18, all of Gameweek 19 and most of Gameweek 20 to get through, as well as the Voodoo magic over in Rwanda, there's plenty to cover.
16-17 #21 - Crystal Pallerdyce
Well the Premier League done us over with their scheduling and so we recorded after only 8 of the 10 games this week. But the Christmas/New Year time warp is almost over and next week we're back to normal.
16-17 #20 - Costa's Xmas Dinner
Diego Costa, the sneaky scamp, managed to time his 5th Yellow card of the season to ensure he misses the Boxing Day game.
But listen along to find out who is the undisputed king of missing Boxing Day matches ...
16-17 #19 Lallana > Messi
Is Lallana the English Messi? Is anyone "The New" Messi? Should we just stop comparing everyone to Messi and talk about the footy?
16-17 #18 - What Are Tackles?
Apparently Pep doesn't know what tackling is. Nor does he know hoe dangerous Jamie Vardy can be.
16-17 #17 - #ForcaChape
A very quick update.
16-17 #16 - San Siro
Adam & Dan are Live from Milan - 2 hours before Inter vs Fiorentina at the San Siro. But that doesn't stop them digging deep into the pockets of the Premier League weekend.
16-17 #15 - Yaya's Back!
Yaya's back and so are the FFPod Squad.
16-17 #14 - Everything Was Stolen
We missed a week. Apologies listeners. Adam was away with work and had all of the mics and recording equipment stolen.
So this week we've made do with 2 mics between 4 of us - apologies for any sound issues but we'll be back on track soon.
Lots to get through this week with Champions League action and one of the best weekends of the season so far with big wins for Chelsea, Liverpool & Man Utd.
16-17 #13 - 9 vs 11
Presented live from Berlin while Adam & Dan are away, the remainder of the team on this episode is just Lee McEvoy at home on Skype. Hopefully the sound is good enough to persevere for all you Fantasy Footy Fans.
Utd were woeful against Chelsea this weekend but elsewhere Leicester looked fantastic and Burnley did a number on in-form Everton.
16-17 #12 - Letdowns
In a slight change to the regular scheduled programme we record during the much-hyped Red Monday. Wes & Lee couldn't make it so Mike and Adam welcomed Rob to the FFPod Squad - a Newcastle fan.
16-17 #11 - Hendo's In
In a trimmed down episode of the Fantasy Footy Pod we delve into the magnificent affair that was England vs Malta - just thinking about it makes us want to have a nap.
Elsewhere Enner Valencia & Ander Herrera couldn't be on more opposite ends of the commitment scale and we also look ahead to the weekends action.
16-17 #10 - A Modern Day Heskey
For the 2nd week in a row the full first team squad are here, lets see how long that lasts.
Of course we recorded our last episode just before the Big Sam news broke so we're a week behind everyone else on that front. But for everything else we're at the front of the action as always.
16-17 #9 - I'm Going Home
It's all ups and downs in the red half of Manchester as Jose is once again the savior. Over in the blue half, things are rosy as Pep gets his 10th consecutive win in all competitions.
Elsewhere West Ham fans just want to go home but Spurs & Arsenal fans are already there and loving every minute.
With a roundup of all the weekend action as well as a look ahead to next week.
16-17 #8 - Can the Real Kante Please Stand Up
N'Golo Kanté has his first bad game in a year and his team lose - coincidence?
Elsewhere Everton quietly sneak up the table and Man Utd loudly fall down it. And with Spurs, Arsenal and Palace all winning, it's just Chelsea slipping in the London League.
A moment of silence for Burnley, who's poor form continues. They really should take a leaf out of West Brom's book next week.
16-17 #7 - Don't Rabona Deeney!
So Manchester is apparently now the centre of the footballing universe and round 1 goes to Pep. Elsewhere Payet was Rabona-ing all over the place, much to the displeasure of Troy Deeney who exacted revenge with a fantastic comeback win.
We're also asking the question on every Liverpool fans lips - has Mane replaced Suarez? Probably not but he's bloody good!
16-17 #6 - Allar-Twice as Bad
Allardyce or Hodgson - very little changed with the "new look" England team, but at least they won!
In other news Man City offload £100 Million worth of talent but somehow still keep Yaya Toure and looking ahead to the weekend we pick our Dream Team superstars.
16-17 #5 - Hammered
Have West Ham fans been cheated by Sullivan, Gold & Brady? Are they chasing every penny and keeping millions back for themselves?
Episode 5 of the Fantasy Footy Pod delves into what the Hammers can expect this season and much more besides.
16-17 #4 - Pogboom
Is it just us or were there 5 Paul Pogba's on the pitch against Southampton?
Today's episode is brought to you by the Man Utd fans in the squad.
16-17 #3 - The Endless Debate - Willy or Hart
Stop what you're doing! The Premier League is back!!
16-17 #2 - Season Preview
It's probably the most hotly anticipated season in Premier League history. Superstar managers and superstar players everywhere. A title that's just too close to call and still 3 weeks of the Transfer Window remaining.
2016/17 Cash League Preview
A quick preview show for next season. Don't forget to join our free cash league at fantasyfootypod.com/windows.
Euro 2016 #7 - Tournament Review
Well that's that then. Portugal are Champions and Ronaldo did more as a manager in Europe in 20 minutes than Wenger has done in 20 years.
We take a look back at our favourite bits from a great Euro 2016 campaign.
Euro 2016 #6 - Quarter Final Roundup, Semi Preview
Well England are out and some of the anger has subsided but West-England are still going strong (AKA Wales).
In this episode the FFPod Squad talk about all 4 Quarter Finals and preview the Semi's.
This episode was recorded with Adam & Dan in Madrid and Lee & Wes on Skype in England - apologies for the Mic quality.
Euro 2016 #5 - Woy's Gone to Iceland
Well that was disappointing :(
Euro 2016 #4 - Slovakia Live
Episode 4 of the FFPod, Euro 2016 edition, is a staggered recording - before, during & after England's 3rd group game vs Slovakia.
In a game completely dominated by England, for the 3rd time in a row, the attack was stunted. So the group stage is over for England and we're through to the Last-16. The displays have been good but the goal return has been far from it.
Lets look at the positives - We've been excellent compared to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Bring on the Last-16!
In other news France play out the worst game of the tournament in their 3rd group game vs Switzerland, but it's enough to see them through. We re-live Ronaldo's misery against Austria and an update on the Croatia fan protests from their 2nd group game against Czech Republic.
Euro 2016 #3 - Wales Review, Slovakia Preview
Is there a better way to win than by scoring a 92nd minute winner? Against your nearest and dearest rivals? After they bigged themselves up all week about how they have more passion?
Onto Slovakia and another 1-man team to nullify. Keep Hamsik quiet and we'll get the win lads. Trust me!
In other news Croatia fans go completely mental and Northern Ireland grab a much needed 3 points. Will Grigg was keeping the bench warm but Northern Ireland were very much on fire.
The favourites are beginning to step it up with Italy, Germany, Spain & France all performing well. Dare we say that England have performed equally as well?
Euro 2016 #2 - Russia Review, Wales Preview
So England, with a spine full of Spurs players have done a classic Spurs. Dominated and ultimately come up short. But what a performance from the boys with a lot to be optimistic about.
Elsewhere Kroos & Ozil were outstanding but what a hit from Payet in the Euro 2016 opener.
Plenty more to come and we can't wait!
Euro 2016 #1 Preview Show
It's coming home, it's coming home, it's coming - footballs coming to France and England are joining the party. We can't wait for the big Euro 2016 Kick-off and in this episode the #FFPod pick out their potential stars of the tournament, outsiders and everything in-between.
We've all done a full tournament prediction and we spend an hour or so going through everything (including Mike predicting an England vs Wales final!).
Join us over the entire month for analysis of all the teams in the Euros. Come on England!
Episode 14 - 2015/16 Season Review
Episode 14 brings the 2015/16 season to a close with a season review of each of the Premier League teams and the 3 Promoted clubs.
The #FFPod team predict each of next seasons 20 sides final league positions and discuss how their season went this time around.
With a bit of Champions League Final and Championship Playoff Final chat too, episode 14 isn't one to be missed.
Episode 13 - Cup Final Day
So Cup Final day is now a thing. With all of Europe hosting their equivalent of the FA Cup Final this weekend, as well as the actual FA Cup Final, there's plenty to talk about in Episode 13 of the FFPod.
There's also England's latest friendly to chat about as well as a preview of the Champions League Final and the Championship Playoff Final coming up next weekend.
Episode 12 - Ed WoodWouldn't
The Premier League Season is over, well almost over after the bomb scare at Man Utd. In this weeks episode the Pod looks back over a final weekend of games that saw Arsenal overtake Spurs into 2nd and a whole hatful of goals across the division.
With a lot of chat about the England squad plus some transfer speculation and a European roundup, the FFPod Squad start looking ahead to the Euro's and beyond.
Episode 11 - 5000/1
Leicester City have done it. BPL Champions 2016. And just the 5000/1 odds.
In other news we've got a double game week to go through plus plenty of other action as Wes takes charge of his first Pod of the season with Adam away for the week.
Episode 10 - 96
Episode 10 of the #FFPod comes at you just before the Battle of Stamford Bridge which saw Leicester crowned champions of the Premier League.
But don't worry, they'll probably still slip up at some point!
We all predicted a draw or a Chelsea win so we basically tell you the future in this episode.
Elsewhere there's a focus on the Justice for the 96 campaign which finally reached it's conclusion and provided the truth after so many years of media lies.
On the pitch the relegation battle heated up with a loss for Norwich, a draw for Sunderland and big Rafa bringing home the 3 points for Newcastle in a game that saw Chocolate Pards back at St James Park.
With another round of European fixtures on the table and a look ahead to the weekend's games with our Fantasy picks, Episode 10 of the #FFPod is bursting at the seams.
Episode 9 - FFPod Team Of The Year
As the season nears it's end, the awards start rolling in. The PFA announced their team of the season this week so we've decided to create our own.
With Premier League Fixtures every day of the week, plus the weekend games, FA Cup Semi Finals and upcoming European games, there's plenty to discuss in this weeks Fantasy Footy Pod.
What are your thoughts on our team of the year? Tweet us @FantasyFootyPod.
Episode 8 - Chat Shit Get Banned
A bumper week for the FFPod Squad to discuss with a Premier League double gameweek, PFA Player of the Year nominations, FA Cup and Man City & Liverpool in Europe all going on in the last 7 days.
Episode 7 - Louis Van Reality-Check
Welcome along - episode 7 of the #FFPod is a rip-roaring ride through the weekends #BPL matches. With a touch to Europe to keep our Liverpool fan happy, the squad go through the major talking points including the 5th fastest Hattrick of all time from Andy Carroll vs Arsenal, The shocking mismanagement of Newcastle United, Leicester confirming Champions League football for next season and another rant about LvG's crazy Dutch management of Man Utd.
Episode 6 - Harry Kane Hype - Train
Episode 6 of the Fantasy Footy Pod - we're really gaining some steam - much like the Harry Kane Hype-Train (seamless link - thanks :)
Hop on board for an hour of #FPL & #BPL banter & opinion.
On the table this week are Aston Villa's slow death; Chelsea's new manager and potential 2017 title-challenge (or is that how many players are out on loan?); Liverpool fantasy transfers from our resident southern-Scouser and much much more.
Oh, and did we mention that for the first time since we started the Pod, we all chose a goalscoring captain last week. See, we do know what we're talking about ;)
#14 - Johan Cruyff Special
One of the most iconic and influential footballers/managers ever to grace the game. Johan Cruyff epitomised the free-flowing, attacking game that we know and love today as well as engineering the best of the Ajax & Barcelona youth academy's as a manager.
His influence over players and managers in the modern game is incalculable and don't forget, he could play a bit! To have the most iconic move in football named after you is about as big as a legacy can be.
If he had lifted the World Cup in '74 he may have been the greatest ever. Coming 2nd in that competition creates an endless debate but what's clear is that Cruyff has shaped much of the modern game and we all owe him a great debt.
Tweet us your opinions @FantasyFootyPod.
Episode 5 - Nutmegging A Mermaid
It's the international break and our resident Liverpool fan has taken the opportunity to have his own break. Fear not #FFPod fans, we've replaced like-for-like and called up another Liverpool fan from the reserves. Dan Hickford joins us for his FFPod Debut.
We take a look back at England's historic win over Germany in Berlin as well as looking forward to the England vs Netherlands friendly at Wembley in a week where the most iconic Dutchman of all passed away.
We touch on the legacy of Cruyff but save the best for a Special episode coming later this week - be sure to subscribe on iTunes so you don't miss that.
With a look forward to all the Premier League action this weekend and plenty of International talk there's a lot to fit into an hour in this bumper FFPod.
