Podcast Episode's:
Adventurecast: The Citadel Of Chaos - Part Four
Welcome back to this continuing series of podcasts that follows our adventures (and misadventures) as we play through the Fighting Fantasy series of single-player roleplay gamebooks by Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone. In this fourth episode of the second series Andy, Rich and Tom continue the epic quest of Salazar Salazaar Spellington Esq as they journey through the pages of: The Citadel Of Chaos. You can find the fan art we mentioned at the end of the show, by Laura (@mirrageofhope) here: https://twitter.com/mirrageofhope/status/708822808013496320

Episode Twenty Two: Edge of the Rebellion
It's the twenty second episode of the Rollin' Dice Show! This week Andy and Richard are joined by not just one, but two guests! Regulars Jimmy and Tom are back on the mics. With The Force Awakens finally available for home-viewing we've taken a trip to a long time ago and far far away to discuss Edge of the Empire, the RPG that's been gripping the four of us over the last few weeks. Long time listeners may remember that Andy ran the EotE beginner box with Richard playing when it first came out, but in the current campaign Rich is GMing, so there's lots of discussion from both sides about what we think of the system, and how fun the game actually is. After that we set our targeting computers to the recently released Rebellion, none of us have played it yet but we aren't going to let that stop us from having opinions! Games Discussed: Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG Star Wars: Rebellion

Adventurecast: The Citadel Of Chaos - Part Three
Welcome back to this continuing series of podcasts that follows our adventures (and misadventures) as we play through the Fighting Fantasy series of single-player roleplay gamebooks by Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone. In this third episode of the second series Andy, Rich and Tom continue the epic quest of Salazar Salazaar Spellington Esq as they journey through the pages of: The Citadel Of Chaos. As you might expect: things do not go well.

Episode Twenty One: Epic Thunderbird Wars of the Ghost Blitz
It's the twenty first episode of the Rollin' Dice Show! This week Andy and Richard are by themselves, just like the good old days when they had no idea what they were doing. In a slight change to your usual programmed content Andy and Richard start off the show by discussing the article "Tabletop Gaming has a White Male Terrorism Problem," and how it's important to be open to listening to different experiences in the hobby and actually take them on board, whether you like what you hear or not. As two straight white men there's nothing we can say about what it must be like for women or people of colour in the hobby that wouldn't be better said by someone else, but just be good to people and accept that there's a world outside the one you know. We then move on to three games we've been playing recently: touching on our first impressions of the decidedly difficult Thunderbirds, discussing what it's like playing the silly and cutthroat Epic Spell Wars at a varying number of players, and waxing lyrical about the superbly simple (but at times down right violent) Ghost Blitz. Games Discussed: Thunderbirds: The Board Game Epic Spell Wars of the Battle Wizards: Duel at Mt. Skullzfyre Ghost Blitz As promised in the podcast, you can find Ghost Blitz on Amazon, for under £10! Episode Twenty: Mysterious Raptors of War
It's the twentieth episode of the Rollin' Dice Show! This week Andy and Richard are joined by regular guest Tom Ryan. In a strange turn of events the RDS boys have actually played a bunch of games in the last few weeks before this podcast. The guys chat about what might be one of the best 2 player board games that is definitely not based on Jurassic Park, a game from Cool Mini Or Not that has barely any minis and a ghostly mix of Dixit and Cluedo. The guys finish up on Richard's adventures playing aGoT LCG on OCTGN. Games Discussed: Raptor Dogs of War Mysterium A Game of Thrones LCG (2nd Ed)

Episode Nineteen: Pandemic Legacy Spoilercast
It's the nineteenth episode of the Rollin' Dice Show! And for the first time since Essen Andy and Rich are joined by two guest hosts: Daniela Rabbits and Tom Ryan. Since Andy and Rich haven't played anything other than Game of Thrones LCG 2nd Ed lately, the quartet of nerds talk about the game they played the most of in 2015 and so far in 2016: Pandemic Legacy. The discussion takes a deep dive into the game, talking about all those juicy spoilers and the personal narratives that came out through playing the game. If you haven't completed Pandemic Legacy yet we recommend you give leave this episode for now and come back to it once you have! Games Discussed: Pandemic Legacy Pandemic Risk Legacy

Listen: podcast - audio/mpeg

Episode Eighteen: The Arsey Case
It's the eighteenth episode of the Rollin' Dice Show! If podcasts were sentient and capable of drinking it'd be finally legal for the show to head to the pub and order itself a pint. To celebrate Andy and Richard are joined once again by Tom Ryan. Against the usual format of light discussion on a multitude of games the trio instead take two rather deep dives. The first is into Spaceteam, a recently Kickstarted card based party game, and the second is into the (rather disappointing) first expansion for T.I.M.E Stories; The Marcy Case. For those worried about spoilers in the Marcy Case we initially have a light, spoiler-free, discussion on what we thought of the expansion. We then clearly signpost when spoilers will start, and discuss in detail exactly what we dislike about the scenario. Games Discussed: Spaceteam T.I.M.E Stories The Marcy Case EDIT: When we were discussing Spaceteam on the show we were unsure if it was available for purchase. It is! If you live in the US you can purchase Spaceteam on Amazon.

Episode Seventeen: £5 Game of Llamas
In this episode Andy and Richard are joined by series regular Jimmy from Loading Bar. Having just forced Jimmy to play the melee variant of A Game of Thrones card game the guys have a bit of a chat about that before discussing a board game about a youtube series about video games that Andy bought for a fiver. They cap everything off by talking about a game that saw Richard miming Harrison Ford cutting an umbilical cord. Games Discussed: A Game of Thrones: The Card Game (2nd Edition) Obama Llama Video Game High School

In this episode Andy and Richard are joined by Jimmy Dance from Loading Bar. After having fallen through a time portal caused by Pandemic Legacy and Fallout 4 the guys have emerged to December. Fortunately in between paying a video game and a game they can't talk about due to fears of spoiling it they also found the time to play the fantastic Fury of Dracula, which they discuss in detail. After the break the trio discuss the opening of Loading Bar's second location in Stratford, focusing on the board games that Jimmy chose to have available for play and why he chose them. This then develops into a more general discussion of pub and party games. After the break they delve into a spoiler laden chat about T.I.M.E Stories, which we have played in it's entirety. If you're hoping to play the game then we'd advise you turn off the podcast during the break and come back to it once you've played. Episode Thirteen: The Biannual Weekly Podcast
So do you remember about 5 months ago when we said the podcast was back and better than ever? Yeah, us neither... Well, after a long hiatus, we're back! Again! Whether we're better is anyone's guess. In this episode Andy and Richard are joined by Tom Ryan (artist and dungeon master extraordinaire), and Jimmy Dance of Loading Bar (who was in 30 under 30 before it was cool). The guys talk about what games have most stuck out to them over the past months and jump directly into the nitty-gritty of Kickstarter, discussing how they think the platform is affecting gaming and whether or not it's good for the industry. They also drink throughout, y'know because what the industry is really missing is the drunken ramblings of four more white dudes. Games Discussed: Battlestar Galactica: The Board Game Dark Moon Castles of Mad King Ludwig Suburbia Star Wars: Armada Spyfall You can find the podcast on iTunes, YouTube, or on the RSS feed.

Return Of The Rollin' Dice Show
Hello there listeners! We are very happy to announce the return of The Rollin' Dice Show Podcast, although it's coming back a little different to how you might remember it. Here's a little update 'cast with Dan, Andy and Richard to let you know how things are going to change. From now on there will be two monthly podcasts. The first of which will be relatively close to the show that you know and love, will be kept to around a half an hour in length, and will narrow in on a specific topic or game. The second monthly show will be a round table discussion in the style of our 2014 End of Year Spectacular Edition Special, this will be a little longer, cover a much broader range of topics, and have a rotating cast of guest co-hosts. We will also be filming the round table, so should you wish to watch us as we talk, or see the specific games we're discussing, then you'll be able to watch the show on our YouTube channel. So there it is, the podcast is coming back, and you'll still be getting something in your feed from us once a fortnight. Look for the next episode of the Rollin' Dice Show, where we discuss our experiences playing Watch The Skies 2, in the next few weeks.
