#14 Austin Sexton - Central Coast Hip-Hop Radio
In this episode Joe and Stacey visit Austin Sexton and Overtone at Playback Recording Studio in Santa Barbara. You should notice a higher quality sound difference with this episode compared to the others. They begin the episode discussing what its like to have access to a professional recording facility. Austin and OT (overtone) share the importance of working at a professional studio if an artist is interested in taking their music to the next level. Austin shares how he has been discovering himself as an artist and how that has contributed to his improvements on each project. They also break down the Soulja Boy vs Chris Brown fight. In this episode Stacey returns for a 2 hour long conversation with the one and only Mr Butter. They discuss what is was like being on tour with The Game and what happened at the show where there was a shooting. They talk about how Butter got in to DJing at age 13. Everyone participates in 2 rounds of "bean boozled". They also get into the discussion of central coast hip-hop and what we need more of and less of. Mr Butter gives his perspective on central coast hip-hop as a DJ. Butter is a great guy to talk too, the 2 hours couldn't have gone by quicker.
