Incorporating Twitter For Small Business

Twitter For Small Business ~ Twitter has quickly become one of the most popular methods for small businesses of informing and building relationships with your consumer base. And if you’re not doing everything you can to make the most of Twitter, you can be sure your competitors will be. If you want to get as much traffic to your Twitter page as you possibly can, here are some things you should know. Make sure that your Twitter page is effortless to navigate and can cleanly and clearly represent your organization or business. Design the layout of your page to look professional and slick, not overburdened with extras and side details. You want the people that follow your page to know instantly, what your page is about. Choose strong, contrasting colours to banner or background your page, backgrounds full of images can overwhelm, and unless you’re selling visual art aren’t as important as your bio and the information you can give out. Twitter is one of the best tools on the social media scene for creating and maintaining relationships with your fans and followers. The continued back-and-forth builds trust and loyalty to your brand. Reply and talk with your fans, make sure that their questions and comments are responded to (to the best of your ability). A response made within 5 minutes of a question is usually one people will still be around your site to witness. Wait too long, and they’ve moved on to something else. Our attention spans have shortened, so you have to be quick on the draw. A lot of your traffic is going to be user-generated. That is, your fans will tell their friends about you, drawing more people to your page. The more you respond, the more inclined your fans will be to recommend your business to their acquaintances. Likewise, make sure to reply rapidly and diplomatically to any and all negative posts that crop up on your page, as flame wars can tank a lot of the good will you’ve built up until they cool down. Update as often as you can. Once a day is good, twice is better. If you find yourself running out of ideas or content, re-tweet, reference and expand your Twitter circle by linking to other partner sites, videos, audio tracks, or info graphics. Do this even if you’re not running out of content, it helps your circle of customers grow. Don’t feel constrained by the 140 character limit, use it to hint and tantalize other aspects of your business. Follow and keep up with your competitors on Twitter, watch their campaigns, you have free access to their marketing strategies, they’re all right there online to see. In a perfect world, your business would have a full-time employee to deal with all your social media sites. In an imperfect one, you should dedicate some time each day to dealing with these free sources of advertising that have been made available to you in the form of social media sites. ...

The post Incorporating Twitter For Small Business appeared first on Blogging Business Tips - Make More Money Blogging.

Facebook Marketing ~ How To Get The Most Out Of Facebook

Facebook Marketing ~ Facebook has over 1.6 billion accounts and millions of people are on the website everyday. Similar to a blog, the social media platform allows you to have a continuous relationship with your customers. Let’s break Facebook down into specific components and discuss them to make it easier to understand. Content Content is the most important thing you have to offer on any social media site or project you run. The more original content you can produce, the easier it is to catch your customer’s attention and keep them coming back. A lot of people only post promotional content on their business pages. You can put numerous forms of content on your page, including videos, graphics, photos, audio clips, links to podcasts, or anything else you find on the Internet. If you are running a landscaping business, you might not be good at self-promotion so you put a picture on your page and some contact information and you make a status update once in a while. There’s a lot more you can do to take your game up a notch. Say you just finished an impressive lawn. Take pictures of the project and post them on your page. Ask people what they think of the lawn and tell them to comment. It is important to maintain professionalism on your page, but people will get bored if it’s all business. Use creativity and create interaction by including a call to action in every status update. People like to read posts that are short, funny, light, and current or have some banter. You will be able to build a brand that people enjoy and look forward to sharing with friends and family. You can use Facebook to leverage your other social media platforms. Your own blog, Twitter, Pinterest, Google +, and LinkedIn can all be used to promote your Facebook page. Look for apps and other tools that will make it easy for you to integrate all of your social media together. The more connections they make, the more traffic they will deliver to your business and the further your reach will extend. A quick way to get your followers interacting on your page is to ask for their help. They can help you reach a goal for free if you ask. For example, if your page is 200 likes away from 1,000 likes and you ask them to help your page get there, you will increase your advertising and do self-promotion at the same time. It works even better if you give them an incentive. A friend of mine used the incentive that he would make a video of himself running around naked in the snow if they reached 1,000 likes in less than 24 hours. It worked, and the video is still on YouTube. The point here is to be creative and get people involved. Features A key aspect of social media is that the public gets a huge say in what information and promotions show up on ...

The post Facebook Marketing ~ How To Get The Most Out Of Facebook appeared first on Blogging Business Tips - Make More Money Blogging.

How To Create A Social Media Presence

Creating An Online Social Presence If you consider yourself a modern professional, you need to be paying attention to your social media presence. Traditional media has taken a huge hit, television, newspapers; most of the old media forms are falling behind the Internet in a big way. Social media platforms like Facebook and Google+ are quickly becoming the most effective way to inform your customers about your business. Social media sites are extremely powerful tools. All of your promotions and advertisements are interactive. Customers can choose how they communicate with you, and at the same time, everyone can see how they interact with you. Posting updates on Facebook and Twitter raises brand awareness and it creates a sense of goodwill around your business. This helps you form positive relationships with your customers. Whether you are an emerging professional or an already established business, there are a few things you need to know to start building your social presence. There are quite a few social media platforms. The best course of action is to choose one that will work well with your product or business. Social media sites are not created equal. Research the different sites and look up user reviews. Ask people who use the sites how they feel about them and what worked. After you choose your social media platform, you need to set up your profile. Keep in mind what the profile is for, telling prospects who you are, what you are about, and how they can get involved with you and your product. Make sure your profile is professional. After you get your profile completed, you have to focus on maintaining your social media presence. Content is king. Potential followers have the whole Internet to browse; your social media sites have to stand out. Release articles and pictures that are informative or interesting, or whatever fits your business. There are two types of content, core and peripheral. Core content is direct information about your business. When starting out, focus on core content. After that, you start adding peripheral content. Peripheral content examples are testimonials, promotions, and guest spots, things that are not directly related to your product. Be sure to mix it up and add core content along with peripheral content. You don’t want your product to get lost in the shuffle. You need to post new content on a regular basis. Tons of information is delivered to users, so you need to have an updating schedule. If you haven’t made an update in over a month, people will lose interest. Be mindful of the bad side of social media too. Users don’t have many restrictions on their behaviour and they can post whatever they want on your profile. Keep an eye out for this and take care of it when it happens. The benefits of having a social media presence outweigh the negatives for most people. Now, let’s talk about the social media sites you might want to use. We will discuss Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, ...

The post How To Create A Social Media Presence appeared first on Blogging Business Tips - Make More Money Blogging.

How To Generate Money With Your Blog

6 Bloggiing Tips To Make You Some Cash ~ Making your blog profitable is easy once you know where to start. That is the tricky part for many bloggers. To help you out, I have created a list of six tips to help you monetize your blog and make money from it. Tip 1: Affiliate Programs Tip 2: Selling Products and Services Tip 3: Ad Networks Tip 4: Selling Ad Spits Tip 5: Selling Guest Post Slots Tip 6: Writing eBooks Tip 1: Affiliate Programs Affiliate programs are simple ways to make money on your blog. You can join an affiliate program such as Amazon or Clickbank and promote offers from them. Traffic you send to your blog will see your links to assorted affiliate products. When they click on the links and complete purchases, you earn a commission for each sale. Find affiliate products that match your content and then place the links in your content so that they blend in naturally. The commissions you receive depend on the commission percentage and the price for the product. You need to choose the correct networks and products. If you promote lousy products, you will hurt your blog’s reputation. If you promote a scam, you can kill your blog and reputation entirely. You gain the trust of your audience by maintaining a good reputation. People will only buy from you if they trust you. Promote quality offers and protect your reputation, as well as your viewers’. Tip 2: Selling Products and Services You can use your blog to promote your own products and services. Make sure that your product or service is high quality. You need to make sure your content is relevant and of great quality as well. Determine whether or not people are searching for your product. If people are in need and you couple their need with outstanding content, you will be successful. *Tip3: Advertising Networks Advertising networks provide an excellent way to create income online. However, you need to be mindful when using them. Some viewers now regard ad networks like Google AdSense as spam. Occasionally, ads that look like AdSense ads are actually harmful when clicked and spread viruses. It can be difficult to make people click those sorts of links. On the other hand, if you can use these ads and keep your blog safe and free of spam, you will build your reputation even more. I have a list of great ad networks you can try: 1. Izea – Izea uses influencers to advertise to target audiences. They use social media and blogs. 2. Lijit – Lijit views itself as your partner in business. They focus on generating income and having your traffic return to your blog. 3. BlogAds – BlogAds’ specialty is blog advertising. You can buy ads that are placed throughout their blog network. 4. Kontera – Kontera uses ads that are in-text. It is PPC similar to AdSense, however, they are different in that when a mouse moves over the text, ...

The post How To Generate Money With Your Blog appeared first on Blogging Business Tips - Make More Money Blogging.

10 Essential Strategies For Blogging Success

10 Essentials For Blogging Success ~ If you are thinking about blogging, I am going to share ten strategies with you to help you rank higher and get more traffic. These are ten essential elements you should have supporting your blog for results: 1. Link Authorship to Google+ Profile 2. Bluehost 3. Protect Your Blog 4. Collect Emails 5. Brand Yourself With Banners and Images 6. Install Tools That Connect With Social Platforms 7. Submit To RSS Feed Directories 8. No Follow Your Privacy Page 9. Mask Affiliate Links 10. Optimize Your Blog I recommend using WordPress for your blog, and most of what I will be focusing on will be in reference to WordPress. One: Link To Google Plus With Authorship Link First, make sure you connect your blog with a Google+ profile using the authorship link. Google wants everyone and everything to be connected to Google+, so do what they desire. If your blog is on page two or three, connect your blog to your Google+ account through the authorship link and you will see a jump in rankings. If you would like to learn how to do this, I will provide a link to a blog post that I wrote that show you how to set up your authorship link. Two: Use Bluehost Use Bluehost for your hosting for three reasons; unlimited bandwidth, unlimited storage, and 24-hour support. You want unlimited bandwidth because as your website grows, so will your traffic. You don’ t want your site to crash when thousands of people are trying to visit your site. Having access to unlimited storage means you can have huge amounts of content on your site. You need this if you are planning to create lots of articles, podcasts, and videos. Unpredictable things will happen as your site grows. Your website can crash or it may get hacked. You need to be able to have it restored as soon as possible. This is why Bluehost’s 24-hour customer support is so important. I will leave a link below so that you can get an in depth analysis of Bluehost’s hosting abilities. Three: Blog Protection Make sure your blog is protected. You don’t want someone hacking your blog and screwing everything up. Bluehost’s support will help you, but you need to build strong protection around your site. I use WordPress so I have lots of plugins to keep hackers out. Askimet keeps your blog from being spammed with comments. GD Press Tools helps with maintenance and security. Safety Press, the main plugin that has the most safety features includes database backup and Captcha. If you are working with WordPress, make sure you have those three plugins installed. Also, use a strong password with a combination of lowercase and capital letters with numbers and symbols too. Four: Collect Email Addresses The fourth thing that you should have on your blog is a place for people to opt in and give you their email addresses. You have to collect emails to make ...

The post 10 Essential Strategies For Blogging Success appeared first on Blogging Business Tips - Make More Money Blogging.

Why You Need A Big Email List In Order To Make Big $$$ Online

Why It Is Important For You To Build An Email List ~ Online success takes more than one strategy. You need to learn how to generate traffic. After you do that, you need to monetize your site. Then you need to create a large audience base. The most important aspect of all of this is creating a large audience. To do this, you need to collect emails and build a large email list. The big online gurus have lists of over a million subscribers. Gurus make the majority of their money online through their gigantic lists. They make money from their lists buy sending out their own products and offers to their subscribers. Their subscribers purchase because trust has already been established. Let us look at some calculations of a list this big. Imagine the guru sent out an offer that converted for $100.00. Now, if only 0.1% of the subscribers purchased the offer, the guru would make $100,000. You can see why it is imperative to build a monstrous email list. The List Building Process Online marketers build lists by creating landing pages and sending traffic to those pages. The landing page will consist of a free offer. The person exchanges his or her email address to receive the free product. Internet marketers use newsletters and eBooks for their free offers. There are extremely aggressive marketers who actually set up ten to twenty landing pages. They spread them around the Internet in order to build lists fast. It is an effective strategy, but it does require a lot of money. Driving Traffic To A Landing Page It can be tough to get a single landing page ranked on Google all by itself. You can try keywords that have low competition, but they will bring small volumes of traffic. The most effective way to send large amounts of targeted traffic to your landing page is through setting up lots of ads. Unfortunately, this method takes lots of cash. This is why so many experts do not recommend it. In the event that you can afford it, and you know how to do advertising online, using ads will help you grow a huge list really quickly. 4 Tips To Help You Create A Successful Email Opt In Campaign Go For A Popular Niche You need to build your list in a popular niche. You need to use a popular niche because it will have a lot of traffic. The niche does not have to be as large as the health niche, but it needs to have lots of reliable traffic. Targeting smaller niches does produce higher conversion rates, however, the traffic will trail off and it is hard to send the same offers to the same subscribers repeatedly. Give Away Something Valuable You need to give away something valuable so that you can establish trust and build your credibility. That is how you sell to your list later. Create A Unique Landing Page Your landing page needs to be unique and ...

The post Why You Need A Big Email List In Order To Make Big $$$ Online appeared first on Blogging Business Tips - Make More Money Blogging.

Internet Marketing Success ~ 3 Components

Internet Marketing Success ~ Succeeding online takes a combination of elements. Three key elements are what I call the Three Pillars. The Three Pillars are: 1. Traffic 2. Monetization 3. Audience These may not be new theories and they may even seem obvious. In reality, many people do not know that they have to use all three of them to truly be successful in online marketing. There are a lot of people who make money online through the first two pillars. It is possible for you to make good money online by generating traffic and monetizing it. If you do not have the third pillar, the audience, it will be difficult to sustain your momentum over time. Traffic is difficult to maintain and it is highly inconsistent. Offers you promote now that bring you traffic can lose popularity. New competitors arise. All of these things combined will drop your conversion rate. Pillar 1: Traffic Everyone knows that you need tons of relevant traffic to your website to be successful in online marketing. Again, this may seem obvious because it is well known that traffic equals to customers. The trouble most people run in to is acquiring relevant traffic. Relevant traffic is visitors who like your site and will buy your offers and products. Diversity is the secret to gaining relevant traffic and increasing conversions. Mastering diversity means that you must learn how to use different traffic-generating methods effectively. The different traffic strategies you can use include search engine optimization, social networks, and podcasts; paid advertising, article marketing and press releases. To really diversify your traffic, you should use three strategies. Five is even better. It is important to use a combination of methods so you can reach people in different areas of the Internet. People search the web for good content via search engines. Other people search via YouTube. Then, there are people who love to hang out on Facebook. You need to get in front of as many of them as possible. Before you start, do your homework. You must know how to use each strategy correctly so that you do not end up wasting your resources. Pillar 2: Monetization If you get traffic to your site, you still will not be able to generate an income from it if you do not know how to monetize it. The way that you monetize your site depends on the kind of site that you have. If you have a blog, you can create an Adsense account. Google will populate ads around your popular posts. If your blog is showing up on the first page of Google, you can sell banner ad space. If you would rather not clutter up your blog with ads, you can include relevant affiliate links in your blog posts. The best way to monetize your site and traffic is to implement each of these methods into your blog. This will allow you to generate money from multiple income streams. My most favorite method of monetization is ...

The post Internet Marketing Success ~ 3 Components appeared first on Blogging Business Tips - Make More Money Blogging.

How To Make Your First $1 Online

6 Ways To Make Your Very First Dollar Online ~ There are different ways to make money online, but you need to understand one method so that you can make your first dollar online. I have compiled a list of six methods to help you get started. My methods include: 1. Selling Your Services 2. Surveys 3. Adsense 4. YouTube 5. Affiliate Marketing 6. Product Creation You can make your first dollar online by using any one of these methods. Selling Your Services There are many people out there who need help and they outsource their work to contractors. If you have a special skill, you can join an outsourcing site such as Fiverr.com and provide your skill for people. Fiverr only pays you $5. If you have quality skills such as accounting, you can join Elance.com and make a lot more money. Another site you can join is Guru.com. There are plenty of skills that are in demand. Online Surveys You can make a couple hundred dollars a month by taking surveys online. If you have a few hours a day to dedicate to this, it is profitable. Two places you can do this are cashcrate.com and opinionuotpost.com. These are ways to make money, but I really do not recommend taking surveys. There are better ways to make money on the Internet. Adsense If you are already with blogging, or have a blog set up, Google Adsense is a straightforward way to make money online. Adsense finds keywords in your blog posts and matches it with ads that are related to the keywords. When a visitor of your website clicks on the ad, you receive a commission. To get the most out of Adsense, you need to monitor your best content and then use it to further optimize your blog. Commissions range from $0.10 per click to $10.00 per click. To learn more about Adsense, you can visit my friend Joel Comm’s eBook about it. You can get it at here. YouTube For those of you who enjoy acting or being in front of a camera, YouTube can be your outlet. YouTube is like Adsense. When someone clicks an ad that comes up during your video, you earn a commission. YouTube partners can earn $2 per 1,000 video views, up to $5 per 1,000 views. You can also earn money for channel views. If you choose this method, I recommend you produce a minimum of one video per week. It is better for you if you create one video everyday. The more videos you have, the more views you will get. To learn more about YouTube, you can pick up Josh Rimer’s eBook at www.JoshRimer.com, He is an expert in making money on YouTube. Affiliate Marketing You can make money online by promoting and selling other people’s products. You need to join an affiliate network such as Clickbank. Then, you need to find products that are valuable and interesting. Once you find a good product to promote, you need ...

The post How To Make Your First $1 Online appeared first on Blogging Business Tips - Make More Money Blogging.

Forget About Google, Focus On Content Creation

Forget About Google, Focus On Quality Content Creation ~ Being found on the first page of Google is important to everyone. However, many people get too focused on trying to rank for one specific keyword phrase. They forget what is truly important. What is truly important is the quality of your content. The more effort you put into creating great content, the better your odds of showing up in search engine page results, (SERPS). Also, you need to create lots of content. The more content you produce, the more you will appear in the SERPS. Content is the key to climbing the ranks. Stop Worrying About Google: Although everyone wants to, it is hard to get on the first page of Google. Search engines use complex algorithms and they are next to impossible to conquer. First you have to find keywords, and then you build backlinks to those keywords. Once you do that, you have to worry about your bounce rate and how readers interact socially with your articles. It is difficult to get this formula perfect. People try to bypass these issues to get to page one use shortcuts. Shortcuts include buying backlinks in bulk, stuffing articles and posts with keywords, and buying instant ranking software. Thanks to Panda and Penguin, these tactics only get you in trouble now. Many people who used shortcuts found themselves starting all over after Google released the updates. Instead of wasting time and money and getting in trouble, do things the right way from the beginning. Achieving page one rankings in Google is important because it gives you organic search traffic. Still, I recommend concentrating on creating quality content instead of focusing on keyword research and backlinks. You need to give your audience content that they will like. There are two billion searches everyday. Someone will find your content. You will also need to produce large quantities of content. A single article will get you some traffic; a plethora of articles will get you a steady stream of traffic. The essential element of gaining traffic is providing content that grabs the attention of many people and keeps them engaged. It is important to create different types of content. You can add podcasts and videos to your content arsenal. 2013 projections indicate that there will be 35 million podcasts downloaded this year. YouTube and iTunes are gaining popularity daily. The second largest search engine is YouTube. Everyday, people go there to search for information because they would rather watch a video than read an article or blog post. Diversify your content. The truth is, you will attract and build your audience by accommodating the preferences of more people. You will be accommodating different people and their learning styles by adding audio and video options for your content. Keep in mind, whatever form of content you are creating; you must maintain quality. To ensure quality, make sure your articles and videos are interesting and full of valuable information. This will keep the attention of your ...

The post Forget About Google, Focus On Content Creation appeared first on Blogging Business Tips - Make More Money Blogging.

Best Preparation Tips For Online Success

Online Marketing Tips ~ Many people start an online business and hope for instant success. Often, people fail to create instant success and give up. Making money online is not easy at first. Beginners do not know what to expect or how to handle mistakes. Most of this can be attributed to not being prepared. Here are five online marketing tips you can take to prepare yourself to be successful in online business. They help you build the foundation of your online enterprise. These steps include: Mindset Research Method Mentor Patience If you view these steps as a process, and then go through them, you will build a strong foundation and prepare yourself and your business for real success. Mindset: Do not focus on making money alone. If you do, you will lose sight of how to get there. Understand that mistakes happen and they become valuable learning experiences. Avoid attempting to manipulate search engine results. Do not outsource content creation to inexpensive contractors. Both of these practices will end up hurting your credibility. Remember that it takes time. When you fail, it does not mean that the world is against you. Mistakes are natural and you will get it right the second time. Research: Before you try to sell a product or service online, you have to find out what is profitable. If you find a profitable product, you have to find out who is buying it and how to get in front of them. It is easier to research an industry, and then study the audience. Find out if there is money in your industry and then find out what that audience needs. This will save you time, and more so, money. It really hurts to spend time and money on promoting a product for three months, to come back and do the research, only to find out no one wanted or needed the product in the first place. Thanks to the Internet, you can do all of your research for free. Good places to get your information include: Amazon EBay Facebook Google YouTube It is also important to research your competition. There are literally millions of websites out there. Fortunately, there are millions of bad websites out there. You can research your competition and learn how to get ahead of them in the search engines. Generally, if you know a lot of information about your audience and industry, you can deliver quality content and that will help put you ahead of your competitors. However, when you first start, it is easier to pursue industries that have less competition. As you grow your knowledge and your skill in online marketing, you will be able to pursue more competitive industries. Method: Study online marketing and find one marketing platform that appeals to you. Continue to learn everything you can about your audience and industry. Take the platform you like and master it. You will use it to market your brand and spread your message across all of the other marketing platforms online. ...

The post Best Preparation Tips For Online Success appeared first on Blogging Business Tips - Make More Money Blogging.
